The Comprehensive Classification of fractures

The Comprehensive Classification of fractures was conceived as a global classification of fractures (initially of long bones, now including the vertebral column and pelvis) by Maurice E. Müller et al. It was published by Springer Verlag in 1990. It was accepted by the AO in 1986. And by the SICOT in 1988. It is being currently used in many scientific publications.

The Atlas of Internal Fixation of Long bones

This work is based on the revision of more than 54.000 fractures treated by some means of internal fixation. All fractures were reclassified using The Comprehensive Classification of fractures system while a statistical study of incidence covering types, groups and subgroups was conducted.
