ACTIVE is a large multi-centre randomised trial designed to compare the long term effectiveness of a cell grafting technique known as autologous chondrocyte implantation (ACI) with existing surgical treatments for articular cartilage defects in the knee.

A series of tutorials developed at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Included are videos of clinical examinations of the knee, breast, chest, abdomen and eye. Other illustrated tutorials feature the anatomy of the skull, mouth pathology, a prolapsed disc, taking a sample of cerebrospinal fluid via a lumbar puncture and an epidural.
