Dialysis & Transplantation is the oldest and largest-circulation multidisciplinary renal care journal with a primary focus on clinical application. Its first issue was published in April 1972, anticipating the establishment of the federally funded ESRD program. The journal continues to anticipate and mold debate in clinical practice.
